KOTA KINABALU, SABAH – Considering the number of young voters has increased in recent years, hence the need for younger leaders and to bring about a rejuvenation of the party’s image, PBRS is to field young candidate in the upcoming 14th general election (GE14) in P182 Pensiangan .
“PBRS is looking forward to have a good representation of young candidate in the coming election and to have a better combination among experienced and young leaders,” said the party in a statement on Monday.
The statement also said, it is therefore paramount that whether at state or national level, we must demonstrate that we have young talents coming through the ranks especially in winnable area.
“However, the party is very strict on only people with the right qualification and capability can be considered,” the statement said.
PBRS has identified a viable candidate.
“Our supreme council had measured his capabilities. We believe he has no problem to take care P 182 Pensiangan,” it said.
PBRS has submitted to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak the name of the potential candidate for the 14th General Election (GE14). We are hopeful that our recommendation will be positively considered by the Prime Minister.
PBRS is calling on the voters in Pensiangan to give BN a good mandate so that we can continuously implement more holistic development in the rural areas for the betterment of the communities.
“Pensiangan voters should give their mandate to BN as we have proven to possess better long-term strategic plans for the people in the country now, and the future,” the statement concluded.
